Is it a dental emergency?

NHS inform lists these as dental emergencies:

  • Abscesses and swellings in and around the mouth
  • Bleeding
  • Trauma, for example knocking out a tooth

NHS inform says breaking or chipping a tooth, or breaking your dentures, isn't a dental emergency. Call us the next working day and we'll find you an appointment.
