Complaints procedure

We want to hear if something hasn't gone right, so we can put it right.

To confirm with Currie Dental Care: Please supply your own complaints procedure, or approve this outline: who handles complaints, and the timescales you work to for NHS and private complaints. The links below are the bodies patients can contact if they're not satisfied.

Talk to us first

Most concerns can be sorted out quickly. Please speak to any member of the team, call us on 0131 449 2100, or email info@curriedentalcare.co.uk. You can also write to us at 58 Bryce Road, Currie, Edinburgh, EH14 5LD.

If your complaint is about NHS treatment

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman (SPSO) (opens in a new tab). The Patient Advice and Support Service (PASS) (opens in a new tab) can give free, independent help with making a complaint.

If your complaint is about private treatment

If you're not satisfied with our response, the Dental Complaints Service (opens in a new tab) can help with complaints about private dental care.

Concerns about a dental professional

Every registrant here is registered with the General Dental Council (opens in a new tab), which you can contact if you have serious concerns about a dental professional's fitness to practise.
